Rolanda Simone is Founder & Principal Designer of URBANUS Interiors. She has specialized & award winning design experience and will combine her refined skill set and knowledge with your program needs & initiatives in order to achieve the desired conceptual outcome.
Rolanda graduated with honours from a CEDA accredited program at Sheridan Institute of Technology & Design in 2009 and now holds an Advanced Diploma in Interior Design. During Rolanda’s educational career she was the 2008 winner of the Global Group Bursary for Outstanding Achievement in the Program.
Rolanda is a recipient of Interior Designers of Canada’s (IDC) Top 5 Under 5 Award, an awards program aimed at recognizing the rising stars of Canadian interior design. Her unique solution and design concept for a self-contained living space survival pack for victims of natural disasters, won her recognition as one of Canada’s top five up and coming Interior Designers.
Prior to becoming Principal Designer of URBANUS, Rolanda practiced full time in Long term care, healthcare & post-secondary design for 6 years. Her work on the Conestoga Library won the Library Architectural & Design Transformation Award. Her educational & professional accomplishments attest to her strive for excellence.
