Paris Road Accessible In-Law Suite

This project is the first phase in a total home renovation and addition. Our client purchased an older home on the perfect piece of land just outside of Paris Ontario. The plan is to create a completely updated home complete with an In-Law suite for their parents, so they may age in place comfortably with their children under one roof. We worked closely with our client to develop a layout that would allow for varied stages of accessibility. Clearances have been designed to allow comfortable wheelchair access. All millwork has been designed with appropriate Accessibility  guidelines; lowered counter heights, roll up access to sinks and cook top.  Even the wall oven and microwave have been lowered and in interior of the upper  cabinets pull down for universal access. The accessible washroom is a luxurious  space with every detail planned with occupant comfort in mind. Our client spared not expense to create a beautiful space and above all to allows their parents to maintain their independence.
